ICELAND

Some pics from my time in Iceland over Spring Break. First from the 'Golden Circle' tour of natural sights, and then from my days in the capital of Reykajvik with some friends

A whsip of sulfur coming from a crack in the tiles

Standing over a frozen crater lake

The Gulfloss (Golden Waterfall) with the crazy ice formations in the background

Another one of the falls

The beginings of an eruption

The final product

Staring down the mid atlantic rift, and site of the first icelandic parliment in Thingvellir national part

Mountains in the distance

Bales of hay (in the white)

an example of some Reykjavik signage

remnants of the runtur (pub crawl)

nothing to do with iceland really, but a good picutre

Kelly fasicnated with the ducks

He (or she) looks surpirsed

In front of the Tjorn (pond)

Once again globilazation can be customized (see montreal for another example)

Leah with a coke "supercan"

the oddly designed Hallgrimskirkja Church in the fog

an example of the blue lagoon (only the one you swim in is much larger)
