These are pictures from the birthday hangout trip to the Empire State Building. Although it was not the original plan, and the observation deck was clouded in fog it was a great experience. The fog provided for an erie time where we couldn't really tell how far up we we're. I recommend it to all, although i still want to go up on a clear night.
Edit - 8/4/05
We finally did make it up there on a clear night and here are the results.
The south of Manhattan that doesn't look quite as good as it once did
One of the East River crossings
East Sideee
The rival Chrysler Building
Two successfully hunted skyscrapers
The GWB
-Here Be The Old Pictures
Obscured by fog
Portrait of a Joe Marino
Less obscured by fog
The Lobby
From a different perspective
What everyone likes to see, except for the zero visibility part
I thought this came out well
The tippy top
Technically we should have seen lower Manhattan, instead we saw fog
Several People
The "professional" picture. I think mine came out better, plus it has more character.
